Modelling Adventures | The Trend Fashion

So this week I booked in with pre launch brand, The Trend Fashion. It was a complete new team which is always exciting to meet new faces (I knew 1 photographer but had not worked with her so far.) So the team was made up of 3 photographers, myself & another model and also hair and make up.

We were shooting catalogue style images for the website launch, short video clips and then longer video clips out doors. I had my hair straightened and slicked back and the make up was very natural and I even got extra freckles!! I have to say the hair and make up team were amazing. Hair was by the skills of the amazing James Reid // Whiskered. Make up was by the lovely Jo Leversuch // Make up by Jo. I could literally sit on set all day getting my hair and make up done, I find it so relaxing.

Hair post straighten by James Reid!

Hair & Make up. Fairly natural & slick.

After that we got changed into the clothing ready to shoot. There was a great selection of clothes & in staple colours & shapes/silhouettes that would be very versatile. Once we'd worked our way through the shots for the studio images we went outside. What a good move because it was a gloriously sunny day which can be rare in Newcastle.

I cannot wait for this brand to launch to see what I can add to my wardrobe! Go check them out over on Facebook and give the page a like so you don't miss their launch! To check out more of my modelling images you can view them on my Modelling Page over on facebook.

Air Wick Sweet Peach Blossom Candle

Anyone who knows me knows that I am an absolute sucker for candles! There is just something about them that makes a space feel so cosy and relaxing. Today I seen these Air Wick candles on sale and thought I'd get one for my room... There was a lavender one too but I preffered the peach scent.

As you can see the candles come in a plastic box with pretty card packaging inside.

The centre section is a solid wax, 'typical' candle. The surrounding area is more of a jelly texture.

I am so happy I went with the scent as it just enveloped my room in sweet peach blossom loveliness! I had actually been feeling very exhausted and a little poorly so this was the perfect little remedy to lift me up.

If you have a minimal style like myself, the pop of orange is a perfect way to add colour to your room without it being a permanent fixture too.

The design of the glass is a really nice little feature. To add a little edge, they gave the rim a little angle. I really appreciate small design details that finish a product off!

I really am a self confessed candle addict so if you know of any candles/brands or your favourites you think I'd love then don't forget to comment so I can check them out...

Until next time.

If you haven't heard of Amy Spires you should really check out her work over on her website or facebook page! Also I think for anyone looking for cool street wear, I Sunk Your Battleship is a cool brand. I'm a sucker for casual wear and street inspired clothes so I love some of their t shirts! My favourite piece is the 'No Hope' slogan t shirt...

Until next time.
